A Guide to Male Grooming
It seems that everywhere you look, there are women’s beauty products posted everywhere, but never anything for men. No longer is that the case, however, as men’s grooming and fashion is becoming less of a taboo - and for good reason. If you want your skin to feel soft or your hair to look shiny, you don’t have to worry about the stigma anymore. Below is our guide to male grooming.
Skin Care
Taking great care of your skin, especially facial, can dramatically change your appearance for the better. In order to do this, we highly recommend that you use a series of products to keep your skin smooth, soft and looking great. First of all, use a facial scrub and a body scrub at least three times a week - but not too much - to remove any dead skin cells on the surface. This will help the following steps easier, make your skin appear smoother and brighten your face.
After this, we recommend using a moisturiser all over your body - including your face - to retain the moisture and keep it smooth and young. Exfoliating with the scrub beforehand will help this absorb better into your skin. There are night and day creams available for you to use each day, which will help to protect your skin as well as nourish.
Hair Care
The state of your hair can change your appearance, meaning that it is important to take care of it as much as you can. Using a range of products on your hair religiously can help keep it healthy, shiny and looking amazing. We recommend using quality shampoo, followed by a reliable conditioner that will deeply nourish your hair. This will make it easier to style and soft to the touch. It’s also highly recommended to have your hair trimmed every 6 weeks, relieving your head of split ends and dry pieces.
Nail Care
Every day, your hairs and nails go through a lot. Cooking, working on the car, gardening and more. This means that it’s likely that you’ll have dirty and unclean nails, so much so that a simple wash of the hands won’t help. That’s why we recommend that you use a manicure set to keep your nails in pristine condition, and to remove any uncleanliness. Don’t forget to moisturise your hands, too.
Shaving
If you often find yourself with ingrown hairs after you shave or small cuts, it may be time to improve the shaving cream that you have. Rather than opting for cheap and cheerful cream - or even no cream at all - choose one with moisturising features that is safe for all skin types, as this will help reduce inflammation and protect your skin.
